Description | Date of birth: 22/05/1901 Marital status: Married Address: 21 Hill Grove, Barrow Hill Type of injury: Injuries - back and knee Description of accident: Was lifting a tub on the road when he slipped on the rope and fell Further information: Hadley had an accident on 15 October 1948, resulting in the amputation of his little finger on his right hand and injuries to his back and right knee. He spent 10 days in Chesterfield Hospital and was at the Rehabilitation Centre for 9 weeks. The assessment of 30 per cent terminated on 18 April 1950. This was reduced on appeal to 10 per cent from 19 April for 3 months. |
