Description of accident: Was drawing a bar out of the Cob, it slipped down the prop and caught his right hand
Further information: Gosling had an accident on 17 August 1948. The reassessment board on 2 February reported that there was 'no visible deformity of right hand' and he was assessed at 5 per cent for the period 22 February 1950 to 21 August 1950. He had been on 'light work' but had to take time off. On appeal the decision was set at 2 per cent for life.
