The injury benefit was terminated by him on 11 February 1950. the Medical Board examination on 2 March 1950 reported a left hernia swelling 'about the size of a pigeon's egg.' The grounds of the appeal were 'Owing to still suffering from the injury I am dissatisfied with the award.' The decision was upheld on the grounds that the hernia is controlled by a truss. |
