The files also includes an agenda and minutes for a meeting of the East Midlands Divisional Welfare Committee held in May 1950; correspondence concerning the presentation of sports prizes (dated September 1950, October 1952 and January 1955); a 1948 reprint of a souvenir booklet marking the opening of the Backworth Collieries Miners' Welfare Scheme and Recreational Centre in Northumberland in December 1937; a leaflet entitled 'Three Residential Week-End Courses for Members of Miners' Welfare Institutes in Derbyshire'; and the Derbyshire District Miners' Welfare Sports Committee's rules and byelaws on indoor games leagues, crown green and flat green bowls, and the Miners' Welfare Affiliation Scheme.
