Description
A letter, dated 20 April 1966, from Mr J Grace, Secretary of the Stanley Common Miners' Welfare, concerning a half-yearly grant that has yet to be paid and a forthcoming football match against a 'strong Derby County Eleven in aid of the Derbyshire Miners' Paraplegic Fund'. Includes a reply, dated 22 April 1966, from the Area Compensation Agent.
A letter, dated 5 May, from the Secretary of the General Welfare Fund for Paraplegic Miners and Others to Mr J Roper concerning arrangements for the collection of a washing machine provided for Roper's father.
