Recites in part the will of William Hallowes dated 2 Sep 1785 referring to his house and lands in Dethick and Matlock, wife Sarah, brothers the Reverend Chambre and Brabazon Hallowes, Sir Robert Barker, John Devaynes apothecary, children Thomas, William, Catherine and Anne; that wife Sarah and son William have died
Recites that part of William Hallowes personalty consisted of debts owed him in Ireland, that Catherine who is now of age is owed by Brabazon (as executor of her fathers will) £1,1012 4s, including her half share of unpaid Irish debts of £315 8s and in order to settle accounts between them, Brabazon will pay the whole sum due to her taking the risk of the unpaid Irish debts. 13 Dec
