Title
Covenant between Francis Hollynsheade of Bossely [Bosely] Cheshire and John Rothewell of Staffordshire mercer. Francis covenants that Dorothy now wife of John will come to the next consistory court in Lichfield and there confess matter sufficient to cause a divorce between her and John; that she will at the next assize court in Staffordshire do such acts, by fine or other ways, required by John for the surrender of her jointure in the houses, buildings or lands of the inheritance of John. John covenants to cease all actions and suits against Francis, Dorothy, Christopher Jolly, John Blower and his wife, and to pay Dorothy £10 immediately after the fine is acknowledged, 2 Apr 27 Eliz
