Title
Volume “Record of Morley Parish” began in 1883 as a log book or brief diary of events in the parish, by the Rector, Mr Boden. He also noted national events and unusual weather conditions. Between 1911 and 1967 no entries were made. They were resumed 1967 – 1971. Items are stuck into the volume e.g. programmes of celebrations of royal events, orders of service, newspaper cuttings. Loose items interleaved in PZ 1: D1797 A/PZ 1/1-2; Lines (poetry) occasioned by a walk near Morley Church in Summer 1912, Thomas Boden (2 copies). D1797 A/PZ 1/3-24: Newspaper cuttings, orders of service, concert programmes, the earlier items particularly associated with Royal events, parish magazines (1972) 1890-1910, 1947-1972, 1988.
