Title
Feoffment by John Maddocke of Ashbourne, baker and Philip Maddocke of Mapleton yeoman and Ann his wife, and Hannah Maddocke of Mapleton widow to John Beresford of Ashbourne esq and Edward Beresford of Stockport (co Chester) gent of seven lands of arable in a common field of Mapleton called Akersall or Accersall and one headland of the same field lying under New Close Hedge, another headland and a pike of land in the same field, one land in the same field in a place called Tibdale, two lands in the Church Field, eight lands lying together in Middle Field otherwise Nether Field, five other lands in the same field, two lands and one headland in Dovefield, a parcel of meadow in the Holes, one land in a place called the Old Waters, and 3½ beastgates on the Upper Hill together with such share of any ploughings or brecks on Upper Hill as shall be made and to which the owner of the said lands is entitled
