Lease for possession by Francis Goodwin of Ashbourne gentleman (son of John Goodwin deceased) to Francis Ridgeway of Ashbourne spinster of six closes of land in Hognaston lately enclosed out of Hognaston Oldfield and called the Clew Bouts (formerly one, now divided in two containing 5 acres), three other closes (12 acres) adjoining, and one close called the Nether Greave (8 acres) which closes were allotted to John Goodwin in place of 15 beastgates.
