This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
A true plan of the Veins belonging to or in the possession of the Masters and Partners at the Mine called Minors Engines in the Liberty of Stoney Middleton and Eyam carefully diall'd and correctly taken from such our dyalling by us whose names are hereafter subscribed [no names]. [18c.] Scale: thirty foot in one Inch [1:360]. Size: 47 x 122 cm. Materials: ink on paper. Centred on: SK214774 Notes: compass indicator, top of sheet north-east. Mining plan showing 'The severall meers of Ground in both Veins are here represented by small stows or possestions and numbere'd respectively' and 'Ilow is wanting abt. Eight Yards of the Seperation betwist Mynors Engine and Little Pasture there Tytles which is now blockd up wth Rubbish'. Location:DRO, D1154G/LP36
