Title
Gift by Ralf Henkersell of Duckmanton to Robert Henkersell, his son and heir, of all his title to a messuage, 2 bovates, a croft called Ewdale Orchard, a plot of land called Boghtland and a plot called Crowellflat, in Ducmanton, which premises Henry son of Henry Bate had of the gift of Welbeck Abbey for a term of years, for the remainder of the term, subject to a rent payable to the abbey. Witnesses: Henry Dawson, William Bate, John [de Spounden], parson etc Dated at Ducmanton, Epiphany, 10 Hy VI [6 Jan, 1431/2]
