Title
Gift by Thomas de Belegh to Beauchief Abbey for the sake of his soul and the soul of Cicily his wife etc, of common pasture for 80 goats and their offspring of 1 year, heath, turbary, rushes and oak for building, for their grange of Harewod, within the common pastures of Belegh [Beeley], with confirmation of all gifts made to the abbey by his ancestors. Witnesses: John Bazon, Robert de Wynffeld of Stanton, Robert de Gratton, Robert de Knyveton etc. Dated Sunday after Christmas Day [31 December] 1335.
