Title
Agreement between Geoffrey, Abbot of Croxden and William, Prior of Newstead (12 Apr 1252) re common pasture in the assart which Newstead had of the gift of Robert le Sauvage at Heytestoft [Hardstoft] from which they deforced Croxden - Newstead gives to Croxden 8a in the north part of the said assart, measured at 18ft per perch, extending westwards 40 perches in length, that is towards Pilishey [Pilsley], and 32 perches wide - in consideration of which Croxden quitclaims to Newstead all title to common pasture in the said assart.
