Grant by William Briwere to Welbeck Abbey of freedom from suit to his wapentake of Scharnesd' [Scarsdale] and of 10s 8d p. a aid which they pay, of all pleas except murder and robbery and of freedom from toll in his market and fair at Cestrefeld and his wapentake of Scharnesd'. Witnesses: Ralf Musard, William Basset, Walter Mauclerke, Simon de Herit', Osbert Giffard, William de Raley, William Treynnuetres, Richard de Wylleford, Robert de Brimington, Robert de Whinchover, Thomas Maudit, Laurence de Burchover, clerk, etc.
