TitleAward of John Manners, esq and Raphe Leek, arbitrators chosen by John Savage, Sir Fraunces Leek and Thomas Beveriche, vicar of [Ault] Hucknall - whereas Beveriche and his predecessors have been seised of 4a. pasture at the upper end of Hodmer Pasture at [Ault] Hucknall, butting on a wood of Sir Fraunces called Crossewood on the east and south and upon a lane by Steynsbye Parke on the north, which 4 acres have for a long time been used and occupied by the tenants of the said Sir John, by reason whereof contention has arisen between the parties - and whereas Sir John and his ancestors have paid yearly to Beveriche and his ancestors a rent of 2s. for the 4 acres - Beveriche and his successors are to peaceably enjoy the 4 acres without interrruption from Sir John.
