Blincoe; Robert (c 1792-1860); Child labourer at Litton Mill, Derbyshire, whose ill-treatment was documented in John Brown's "Memoir of Robert Blincoe".

Needham; Ellis (1760-1830); Farmer and landowner, of Litton, who set up a textile mill at Litton in 1782 with Thomas Frith. He became notorious for cruelty and ill-treatment of his child labourers.
