| Notes | A village in the White Peak area of the Peak District National Park, situated north of Ashbourne. The village forms part of the Tissington Estate, which has been associated with the FitzHerbert family since the 15th century, and is centred on Tissington Hall, a Jacobean country house built in 1609. The Tissington Trail, a recreational route following the former Ashbourne to Buxton railway line, passes through the village.
