Administrative HistoryThis is one of the ancient parishes of the county. Holy Trinity parish was created in 1888 and St John the Evangelist, built as a mission to St Mary in 1894, became a separate parish in 1912 (see D2233). There were mission churches at St Bartholomew, Hallam Fields, (see D3774), All Saints, Larklands and the Church Army Mission, Station Road.
