1 - Settlement upon the marriage of John Hodgkinson of Nottingham, ironmonger, and Sarah, daughter of Thomas Seagrave of Leir (Leics)., clerk - 1710
2-3 - Lease and release by Thomas Hodgkinson of Quarndon (Leics), gentleman (only child and heir of John Hodgkinson) and Mary his wife, to William Willamott of Ashover, yeoman, in consideration of £205, of a cottage and garden at Ashover (tenant Thomas Flint) with a close known as the Pingle at Marsh (2a.), and a parcel of land called the Hillocks or little Hillocks (1a.), with the cottage or building thereon (tenant William Cundy). 9/10 December - 1772
4 - Release following lease (lease missing) by John Hollingworth of Darley, weaver, to William Williamott of Ashover, farmer in consideration of £110, of a close known as Hollingworth Close or Great Hillocks (3a.) at Ashover with a messuage adjoining the same (tenant William Cundy). 5 April - 1776
5 - Probate of William Williamott of Ashover, inn-keeper; all his real estate and personal estate to Joseph Gregory and John Twigg of Ashover, shopkeepers, upon trust to sell and to place the money out at interest, to pay his wife £12 p.a. for life - to his children John, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah £50 each upon the day of their marriage - upon the decease of his wife, to divide the money among the children in equal shares. 17 April - 1777
6 - Probate of John Hollingworth of Darley, weaver; - to his nephew William Kirkland, 1s. - to his son in law William Hollingworth, a freehold dwelling house and garden at Ashover known as Hollingworth House with the household furniture in the same. 13 September - 1782
7 - Release by John North of Sutton, farmer, and Mary, his wife (daughter of William Williamott) to John Twigg for £143 15s. due to her by her father's will (see CT 5). 27 July - 1799
8 - Letters of administration to Henry Knowles for the estate of his daughter Sarah Knowles who died intestate. 13 October - 1814
9 - Release by Henry Knowles of Ashover, inn-keeper, (husband of Elizabeth Knowles deceased, daughter of William Williamott, and father of Sarah Knowles deceased, and Mary, now wife of Stephen Riggatt) to John Twigg for £71 17s 6d, which was due to Sarah under the will of William Williamott (see CT5). 26 November - 1814
10 - Release of Stephen Riggatt of Ashover labourer, and Mary, his wife, (daughter of Elizabeth Knowles deceased, who was daughter of William Williamott deceased ) to John Twigg for £71 17s 6d., due to May under the will of William Williamott (see CT5). 26 November - 1814
11-12 - Lease and release by John Twigg of Ashover, shopkeeper (surviving trustee of William Williamott), to Henry Knowles of Ashover, inn-keeper, in consideration of £180, of a close known as Hollingworth Close or Great Hillocks (3a.) with the messuage adjoining the same at Ashover. 25/6 December - 1814
13 - Will of William Hollingworth of Ashover - to his son William, 20s. - to his wife Elizabeth, his house, garden and all real and personal estate. 29 December - 1814
14 - Feoffment by William Hollingworth of Sidnaford (Cinderford) (Glos), coal miner, (only son of Elizabeth Hollingworth of Ashover, deceased, who was widow of William Hollingworth (see CT6), to Henry Knowles of Ashover, yeoman, whereas William Hollingworth deceased, agreed with Knowles for the conveyance to him of premises as below in consideration of £35 and whereas £2 was paid to William Hollingworth and £33 was later paid to Elizabeth Hollingworth but the premises have not been conveyed, of a messuage called Hollingworth House with the yard and a garden and ½ a land, at Ashover. (see also D819/CE/2). 28 February - 1823
15 - Mortgage by Henry Knowles of Ashover, inn-keeper, to John Bamford of Ashover, butcher, for £40, of estates as D819/CT/11-12. 14 November - 1823
16 - Probate of Henry Knowles of Ashover, yeoman - all his personal estate to his daughter Mary Riggott - all his real estate to Samuel Mellor of Ashover, carpenter, upon trust to pay the rents and profits to Mary for life, subject to the payment of interest upon a mortgage of £40 (see CT15), - after Mary's death the real estate to be divided among such of her children as are then living, in equal shares. 15 April - 1830
17 - Mortgage by Samuel Mellor Ashover, carpenter, with the consent of Mary Riggott of Ashover widow, to Hannah Bamford of Ashover, spinster, for £118, of estates as D819/CT/11-12 9/10 December - 1839
18 - Conveyance by Christopher Riggott private in the 69th Reg. of Foot., and Thomas Watts of Newbold Moor, blacksmith and Mary his wife (late Mary Riggott) to John Riggott of Dunston, serving man, and William Riggott of Holmesfield, blacksmith, in consideration of £91, of two fourth parts of Hollingworth Close or Great Hillocks (3a) with the messuage adjoining (tenant William Nightingale) and of Hollingworth House with the yard, garden and ½ a. land (tenant Anthony Marriott). 16 September - 1844
19 - Conveyance by William Riggott of Walton, blacksmith, to Hannah Bamford of Ashover, spinster, in consideration of £71 and of £59 retained by Hannah (being a moiety of £118 due to her on a mortgage), of a moiety of Hollingworth Close and messuage and of Hollingworth House etc (as D819/CT/18) 31 July - 1848
20 - Conveyance by John Riggott of Chesterfield, yeoman, and Hannah Bamford of Ashover, spinster, to John Henderson of Chesterfield, grocer, in consideration of £59 paid to Hannah and £76 paid to Henderson, of a moiety of Hollingworth Close and messuage and of Hollilngworth House (with schedule of deeds 1772-1844). 26 January - 1849
21 - Conveyance by Hannah Bamford of Ashover, spinster, to John Henderson of Westfield House, Newbold, gentleman, in consideration of £135, of estates as D819/CT/19. 15 October - 1856
22 - Conveyance by John Henderson to William Birks of Kendal (Westm'd), dissenting minister, in consideration of £450, of Hollingworth Close or Great Hillock with two messuages, now converted into one and known as Hollilngworth House and a parcel of land (total 2a. 3r. 22p) (with plan 100ft:1 in.) 29 June - 1876
