1 - Agreement. Henry Ashby of Edensor and Robert Shaw, mercer and draper, of Baslow with Thomas Ashby of Edensor and Suttonia, his wife, and John Carver, clerk, of Morthen. Suttonia to be free to call on any part of £1,000 borrowed by Henry from Suttonia his mother and advanced under certain articles of co-partnership. - 21 Jun 1800

Robert Shaw and Henry Ashby agree with Suttonia Ashby, wife of Thomas Ashby of Edensor that they will pay her for 13 years a yearly rent equal to 5% of the purchase money which she is to pay for a house and shop in Bakewell Market Place and Grammar’s croft to be bought at the sale of the Grammar estate. - 20 Feb 1801
