1 - Letter from George Tillingham from Bakewell, acting on behalf of the Duke of Rutland, to one of the Duke's tenants, relating to the defence of the country against potential invasion and the formation of volunteer infantry corps, requesting that communication be made with other tenants in Curbar and Froggatt on the issue and that the inhabitants assemble to tender voluntary service at a meeting, to which the inhabitants of Baslow and Bubnell will also attend, 11 Aug - 1803
