D400 - Marriage Settlement and Removal Order - 1724-1851
1 - Marriage settlement of Samuel Stretton of Cawdwell (Caldwell) and Isabella Smith of Clifton Campville, (Staffordshire) widow. Samuel to pay £200 to trustees with power of appointment over £80 reserved to Stretton if he dies childless before Isabella. Stretton not to charge Isabella's children now living for board, clothes or education but provide suitably for them until 21 years old - 1724
2 - Note (found inside marriage settlement) on farming conditions of a farming lease, turnips to be fed where grown, manuring necessary, limitations on ploughing - [18th cent]
3 - Removal order for Bridget Austin, widow, from Manchester [Lancashire] to Ashford in the Water - 1851
