D3451 - Lowe family of Lea in the parish of Ashover - 1860-1895
1 - Probate of the will of John Lowe of Lea in the parish of Ashover, farmer, made 1 Feb 1859 - 19 Sep 1860
2 - Probate of will Henry Lowe of Lea in the parish of Ashover, farmer, made 9 Aug 1893, appointing his son-in-law Frederick Henry Drabble of Matlock Bank, mill owner, and his son, Samuel Lowe joint executors, giving:- (i) to his wife Elizabeth furniture to furnish a cottage and a legacy of £200 (ii) to his son Samuel £50 (iii) To each of his daughters Hannah Maria Lowe, Sarah Ellen Lowe and Betsy Alice Lowe, £50 (iv) to his son John all the rest of his property. He declares that no provision for his sons James and William and his daughter Mary Ann Drabble are made as they are already amply provided for - 1895
