2 - Thomas and George Allestrye at Roger Allestrye's direction enfeoff Sir Samuel Sleigh of Ash, knight of Manor of Burnaston or Brynaston, capital messuage or manor house of Burnaston lately in possession of Francis Kilbourne and now in occupation of Lancelot Stanley, closes called the Alts closes with windmill, 2 messuages, farms or tenements, 3 cottages, 2 parts of Salter Streete and the blind balke, all in Burnaston. 20 Jan, 23 Cha - [1648]
3 - Appointment, John Clarke of Etwall, cordwainer and Rowland Cotton of Etwall, esq, and Francis Jones of Derby, gent, recites that by lease and release of 1 and 2 Oct 1724, Clarke granted to Jones messuage, lands and one cowgate in Etwell marsh, in Etwall, for 99 years in trust to raise £60. Clarke directs that for £5 paid to him by Cotton, Jones is to levy the £5 and interest as part of the £60 and pay the same to Cotton by 30 Oct, Jones's term in the premises to be security for the £5. 30 Oct - 1729
