1-2 - Lease and release by John Hadfield of Fullwood Snle in the parish of Hope, yeoman (deceased), Thomas Eyre of Alport in the parish of Hope, yeoman (eldest son of Isaac) and Hannah his wife, and Beatrice Eyre of Hope, widow (relict of Isaac), to Anthony Wright of Wormhill, yeoman, of Wilson Close (1 acre 2 roods), Howbrook Pingle (1 acre 2 roods), a parcel of land lying on the south side of Newfield, a parcel of land lying in Newfield (2 roods), one rood in Marsden Pingle, one rood in Nether Marsdens, 2 roods in the Marsden New Close, one other rood in the same, one rood on the Bean Butts, 1 acre in the Fitchett Halfacres, one acre in the White Lee, 3 roods in the Old Field, 3 further roods in the same, 2 roods in the Crooked Roods, 3 roods in Sour Butts, and one rood in Ashton’s Close, all lying in Hope; covenant to levy fine; covenant to surrender copyholds. 3 - Feoffment by Samuel Ashton of Castleton, yeoman, to William Eyre of Castleton, miner, of the Upper Close (2 acres 3 roods 20 perches), and 1 acre 33 perches on the west side of Coat Close, lying in Hope. Consideration £247 10s. Dated 10 Jan - 1807

4-6 - Lease and release by William Wright of Wormhill, gent., (son of Anthony Wright, deceased) to Samuel Ashton of Castleton, yeoman, of lands as in D1836/M/T/1-2, Consideration £385. With bond. Dated 27/28 Aug - 1810

7-8 - Final concord and counterpart between Philip Ashton, plaintiff and Arnold Dane and Martha his wife, and George Shaw and Sarah his wife, deforciants, of two third parts of 3 acres of land 3 acres of meadow, and 3 acres of pasture and appurtenances in Castleton and Hope. Fine £60. Dated 6 Jun - 1814

9-10 - Lease and release by George Shaw of Bampton in the parish of Hathersage, yeoman, and Sarah his wife, Thomas Eyre snr. of Castleton, miner, Arnold Dane of Castleton, blacksmith, and Martha his wife (Thomas, Martha, and Sarah being devisees in fee of the will of William Eyre, deceased), to Thomas Eyre jun. of Castleton, fustian manufacturer, of one undivided third part of Upper Close, Coat Close and Booth Pingle in Hope; a close at the How Lane in Castleton. Consideration £110 to George and Sarah for the lands in Hope, and £15 paid to Thomas Arnold and Martha. Dated 8/9 Jul - 1814

11 - Conveyance by John Wilson of Thornhill in the parish of Hope, farmer, to John Wilson of Duke Street Park, Sheffield, (Yorks) gent. of a plot of land in Thornhill (1 rood 27 perches), no. 23 in the Hope inclosure award. Dated 14 May - 1868

12 - Conveyance by John Wilson of Castleton to the Midland Railway Co. of 3 roods 20 perches in the parish of Hope; plan annexed; consideration £350. Dated 24 Jul - 1894

13 - Agreement between Wilson Eyre esq. of Castleton and the Derwent Valley Water Board for the sale of land in Thornhill (2 acres 1 rood 3 perches; plan annexed) for a sum of £445. Dated 11 Jul - 1901

14 - Agreement between parties as in D1836/M/T/13 for the apportionment of a chief rent on land in Thornhill. Dated 6 May - 1903

16 - Agreement between Wilson Eyre and George Herbert Strutt for the sale to Strutt of Wormy Hay and a parcel of Toll Barr Field in Thornhill in the parish of Hope. Consideration £200. Dated 7 Mar - 1912

17 - Mortgage by Joseph Rose, miner, of Castleton to Isaac Hall esq., of Castleton and William Brett, esq., of Stone (Staffs.), of the High Brin (1 acre, 3 roods, 25 perches), the near kiln lands close (1 acre 2 roods, 20 perches), the far kiln lands close (2 acres, 1 rood, 13 perches) and kiln lands close pingle (1 rood, 38 perches) in Castleton, in consideration of £150, at 5% interest. Dated 22 Jul - 1805

18 - Mortgage by Isaac Eaves, miner, of Castleton to Samuel Wood, cotton manufacturer, of Mellor, of the close in Castleton called Foxhill, with the barn standing on it, (3 acres, 3 roods, 9 perches), in consideration of £250, at lawful interest Dated 19 Aug - 1806

19 - Assignment of mortgage at D1836/M/T/17 above by Isaac Hall esq., of Castleton and William Brett esq. of Stone (Staffs.), at direction of Rebecca Royse widow, of Castleton, relict of Joseph Rose, miner, deceased, of Castleton, and Micah Royse, warehouseman, of Manchester, (Lancs) son and heir of Joseph, to Jeremy Royse, lead merchant, of Castleton, in consideration of all principal and interest, and £150 10s paid to Isaac Hall, and in consideration of £49 10s lent by Micah Royse to Jeremy Royse for a further mortgage on the High Brinks and Near Kiln Lands Close, and in consideration of £300 for a mortgage on a messuage in Castleton with the garden adjoining, at rate of 5% interest on £300 total. Dated 21 Aug - 1815

20 - Lease for one year by Richard Harrison, gent., of Tideswell, John Barber, miner, of Castleton, and Isaac, Joseph and William Eeedes, miners, of Castleton, to Thomas Eyre, fustian manufacturer, of Castleton, of land in the Garbroods (2 roods 24 perches) with another 1 rood 18 perches in the same place, in Parsons close 31 perches and another piece there of 1 acre 6 perches, in Upper Shut 1 rood 17 perches with 3 roods and 29 perches in the same place in Castleton in consideration of 5s. Dated 29 Aug - 1815

21 - Lease for one year by Richard Harrison, gent., of Tideswell, John Barber, miner, of Castleton, Isaac, Joseph and William Eeeds, miners, of Castleton, and Mary Eeeds, widow, of Castleton to Thomas Eyre, fustian manufacturer, of Castleton, of three messuages in Castleton, hitherto one messuage, but occupied as two, in tenures of Isaac, William and Joseph, a weaving shop, formerly a stable, adjoining, with the pews and seats belonging to it in Castleton church, and a small garden adjoining, and Foxhill close, 3 acres, 3 roods, 9 perches, with barn thereon, with the garden formerly part of Foxhill close, with 1 acre 2 roods and 2 perches in the Middle Bruns and Far Bruns, and 18 perches in the Near Bruns, all in Castleton, in consideration of 5s. 22 - Mortgage by Thomas Eyre, lead merchant, of Castleton to Samuel Frost, corn miller, of Milnhouse Dale in Tideswell, of Boden pingle (1 acre, 1 rood, 28 perches) in Hope, the High Brinks (1 acre 3 roods 25 perches) and the Near Kiln Lands Close, (1 acre 2 roods 20 perches) in Castleton, in consideration of £200 at 4% interest. Dated 3 Apr - 1845

23 - Mortgage by Thomas Eyre, lead merchant, of Castleton to Samuel Frost, corn miller, of Milnhouse Dale in Tideswell, of the Upper Close, Cole Close and Booth Pingle, in all Hope, and containing 6 acres and 2 roods, in consideration of £160 at 5% interest. Dated 24 Mar - 1848

24-25 - Memorandum of mortgage by Thomas Eyre, yeoman, of Castleton to Joseph Wright, yeoman, of Wormhill in Tideswell, in consideration of £150, of a close in Hope containing 3 acres 1 rood 6 perches, called Nether Marsdens and numbered 190 in the Inclosure Award, at 4½% interest. 26-27 - Memorandum by Thomas Eyre, yeoman, of Castleton of deposit of title deeds to Upper Close, Nether Close and Booth Pingle in Hope, with John Winterbotham, surgeon, of Castleton, to secure the repayment of £250 at 4½% interest. With bond. Dated 27 May - 1858
