1-2 - Lease and release by John Hadfield of Fullwood Snle in the parish of Hope, yeoman (deceased), Thomas Eyre of Alport in the parish of Hope, yeoman (eldest son of Isaac) and Hannah his wife, and Beatrice Eyre of Hope, widow (relict of Isaac), to Anthony Wright of Wormhill, yeoman, of Wilson Close (1 acre 2 roods), Howbrook Pingle (1 acre 2 roods), a parcel of land lying on the south side of Newfield, a parcel of land lying in Newfield (2 roods), one rood in Marsden Pingle, one rood in Nether Marsdens, 2 roods in the Marsden New Close, one other rood in the same, one rood on the Bean Butts, 1 acre in the Fitchett Halfacres, one acre in the White Lee, 3 roods in the Old Field, 3 further roods in the same, 2 roods in the Crooked Roods, 3 roods in Sour Butts, and one rood in Ashton’s Close, all lying in Hope; covenant to levy fine; covenant to surrender copyholds. 7-8 - Final concord and counterpart between Philip Ashton, plaintiff and Arnold Dane and Martha his wife, and George Shaw and Sarah his wife, deforciants, of two third parts of 3 acres of land 3 acres of meadow, and 3 acres of pasture and appurtenances in Castleton and Hope. 17 - Mortgage by Joseph Rose, miner, of Castleton to Isaac Hall esq., of Castleton and William Brett, esq., of Stone (Staffs.), of the High Brin (1 acre, 3 roods, 25 perches), the near kiln lands close (1 acre 2 roods, 20 perches), the far kiln lands close (2 acres, 1 rood, 13 perches) and kiln lands close pingle (1 rood, 38 perches) in Castleton, in consideration of £150, at 5% interest. 18 - Mortgage by Isaac Eaves, miner, of Castleton to Samuel Wood, cotton manufacturer, of Mellor, of the close in Castleton called Foxhill, with the barn standing on it, (3 acres, 3 roods, 9 perches), in consideration of £250, at lawful interest Dated 19 Aug - 1806
19 - Assignment of mortgage at D1836/M/T/17 above by Isaac Hall esq., of Castleton and William Brett esq. of Stone (Staffs.), at direction of Rebecca Royse widow, of Castleton, relict of Joseph Rose, miner, deceased, of Castleton, and Micah Royse, warehouseman, of Manchester, (Lancs) son and heir of Joseph, to Jeremy Royse, lead merchant, of Castleton, in consideration of all principal and interest, and £150 10s paid to Isaac Hall, and in consideration of £49 10s lent by Micah Royse to Jeremy Royse for a further mortgage on the High Brinks and Near Kiln Lands Close, and in consideration of £300 for a mortgage on a messuage in Castleton with the garden adjoining, at rate of 5% interest on £300 total. 21 - Lease for one year by Richard Harrison, gent., of Tideswell, John Barber, miner, of Castleton, Isaac, Joseph and William Eeeds, miners, of Castleton, and Mary Eeeds, widow, of Castleton to Thomas Eyre, fustian manufacturer, of Castleton, of three messuages in Castleton, hitherto one messuage, but occupied as two, in tenures of Isaac, William and Joseph, a weaving shop, formerly a stable, adjoining, with the pews and seats belonging to it in Castleton church, and a small garden adjoining, and Foxhill close, 3 acres, 3 roods, 9 perches, with barn thereon, with the garden formerly part of Foxhill close, with 1 acre 2 roods and 2 perches in the Middle Bruns and Far Bruns, and 18 perches in the Near Bruns, all in Castleton, in consideration of 5s.
