DescriptionFormerly included an unlisted accession of Media and Public Relations records, comprising broadcast audio and video footage on various storage media, discovered during a store room clearance. These items were accessioned in June 2018, then transferred to the Media Archive for Central England (MACE) in April 2019. Contents as follows:
VHS tapes:
Derbyshire County Council/MACC promotional Japanese Programme (Five Lamps Television Ltd., early 1990s). Accompanied by a similarly packaged "version 2" on Sony Antistatic video tape (rather than VHS), marked "Master - do not erase".
Dronfield [Carn...] (Derbyshire County Council Video Service, 29 Jun 1985 - adhesive note suggests distribution to BBC and Granada)
Discovering Derbyshire Dales: Water On Stone (Highlight International, early 1990s)
Foster Caring: The Facts (Care For Us/Derbyshire County Council, 1990s)
The 1984 International Bolsover District Walk (no authorship details - see also D7913/4/1/1989)
Children At Risk: A video to accompany the notes produced by Derbyshire County Council for the [sic] use in the training of its staff (Derbyshire County Council, c1980s)
3 hour video of Budget Meeting 26 Feb 1993 (no authorship details - presumably a Derbyshire County Council meeting)
LMS DCC Part 4: Support For All (Prime Park Studios, Derby, c1980s)
Quadruplex Video tape:
The Earth Movers (Independent Television News Ltd., ITN, 15 Jan 1980, contents note bearing reference 8173)
Audio tapes:
3 reels of Grundig HiFi tape, GDR 22 format (6mm tape on 22cm diameter spool) unmarked but in storage containers marked 1, 2 and 3. With a fourth reel in similar format/packaging but on a 12.5cm spool, its storage box marked "C&HP Master V/Over". This suggests all four reels may comprise the master soundtrack recordings of a voiceover to a film relating to the Cromford and High Peak Railway.
