DescriptionWaiting for the Diligence to take him and two companions to Moscow; has been well received by British and Russian officials; expects to be introduced to the Empress Mother when he returns from Moscow; St Petersburgh is "magnificent"; asks her to tell Dr Richardson that Admiral Kruzenstern is delighted at hims coing out and is assisting him in everything he wishes; he will see the Military Cadet College and Academy of Sciences when he returns from Moscow; the Griffins have arrived in Moscow, but he may not get a chance to see them; letter just to let her know that arrived; love to all friends; his sister to write to Bell [Isabella Cracroft] and give his "best love" to "little Eleanor", as well as that of Miss Jane.
