Transcript or IndexMy Dear Sir
I expect an old lady, Mrs Byrne, a most worthy & affectionate friend of mine, to tea here tomorrow, Wednesday, and there is also a probability of Miss Appleton. If you return from Woolwich in reasonable time let me hope you will not have any objection to meet them, or to encounter us three ladies at a very quiet rubber.
Fine weather attend your excursion.
Yours affectionately
E A Porden
