Administrative History	Catherine Cracroft (1823-1885) was the fifth child and fourth daughter of Thomas Robert Cracroft and his wife Isabella (nee Franklin). She was also the niece of explorer Sir John Franklin and cousin of Eleanor Isabella Franklin, later Gell. Catherine died unmarried.
