DescriptionThis file comprises 142 photocopied pages of manuscript autobiography. Norman's surname is not given in the text, but it mentions that he was born in 1917 in Derby, a twin; the only matching entries on the General Register Office index to births are in the name of Ludlam. Norman Ludlam is also recorded as one of the contributors to "A Derbyshire Town Remembered", the Postmill Press anthology devoted to South Normanton (D7913/6/3/4/2). Mr Ludlam's family moved to South Normanton in 1919, where he was still resident at the time of writing.
