Administrative History	The National Sunday School Union was established in 1803, and was later renamed The National Christian Education Council. In 2002 it merged with the Christian Education Movement.
Custodial History	These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in February 2014 by the Methodist Circuit. A further accession was transferred from Chesterfield Library: Local Studies in August 2016.
