Archive Reference / Library Class No.D6939
TitleDavid G Edwards (b. 1933), historian
Date[20th cent]
DescriptionThis collection is the product of Mr Edwards' research into the history of Wingerworth. It consists of notebooks, note files, transcripts and copies of original sources, press cuttings, and some miscellaneous items. The records had already been organised into series and numbered to file level on transfer to Derbyshire Record Office, and the new reference numbers assigned to them retain this original order. To avoid disturbance to cross-referencing, no attempt has been made to re-number documents within a series, even where there are gaps caused by disposal or retention by the donor. An indication of the author's original reference is included at series level.
