| Administrative History | The association was created in 1936 to act as agent for the selling of coal raised at the collieries of the members of the Association. The inital members of the association were the Barlborough Common Coal Company, the Mosborough Moor Coal Company, Dent Main Colliery, Beighton Fields Colliery, Hirst Hollow Colliery Company, and the collieries owned by Fred Blair and George Wilson of Chesterfield. |
