Copy will of John Bowering of Hackney Lane, Darley Parish, yeoman. Will dated 13 Aug 1847 Executors: Arundel John Bowering and Anthony Holmes of Bridge Town, farmer. Testator's dwelling house and the adjoining four closes called Rushey Acres at Matlock Bank in Matlock Parish to Arundel John Bowering forever subject to the payment of half of debts should they exceed personal estate. Holme Barn Close and Cheetham Close in Darley (subject to half debts, as above) to testator'sniece Sarah (wife of Daniel Wagstaff of Toadhole in Darley Parish, farmer) for her natural life and after her death to nephew Eli Wagstaff absolutely. All personal estate to Arundel John Bowering and Eli Wagstaff absolutely
