| Administrative History | The Bradbourne estate was the property of the Bradbourne family of The Hough, Hulland, until the late 16th century. Jane Bradbourne married Sir Humphrey Ferrers of Tamworth and the estate descended to George, Marquess Townshend. In 1809, it was sold to Philip Gell of Hopton. |
