Administrative History	Aldercar High School opened in September 1955. Following an academy conversion agreement dated 30 September 2022 (see DCC/LG/CX/3899) the school ceased to exist, being replaced by an academy.
Custodial History	These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in several accessions, dated as follows: 03 December 2001; 25 March 2004; 20 September 2004; 23 November 2018. Ownership passed to Derbyshire County Council when the school ceased to exist.
