Administrative History | The United Free Methodist Church at Shirland was established by 1895. In 1907 the United Free Methodists joined with New Connexion Methodists and Bible Christians to form the United Methodist Church. In 1932 the United Methodists joined the Wesleyan and Primitive Methodists to form the Methodist Church. In Shirland the church was known as St Pauls Methodist Church from the mid-1930s. |
