The Festival Committee led on, towards the end of 1970, to the establishment of the Arkwright Society, which continues to preserve and administer the buildings of Cromford Mill and open them to the general public.
Custodial HistoryThe records were deposited in the Derbyshire Record Office in September 1999. They relate to the work of the Treasurer of the Committee.
