DescriptionRickard's was founded in 1853 and the principal mills were situated in Asbourne Road and Agard Street, Derby. William Rickard was also involved in other ventures, including being a Director of Lehner Artificial Silk Company in Bradford, and was an investor in the Pyramidical Syndicate.
