DescriptionRecords collected by Messrs F. and H. Taylor of Bakewell as agents to the Stanton estate, and as solicitors to Major M.C. McCreagh Thornhill and Mrs Thornhill, including estate and legal papers. Also includes papers relating to the work of F. & H. Taylor in relation to the Barmote Courts, local businesses including Monsal Dale Mines & Quarries Ltd. and 'Ann Twyford', Quarry Owners, Masons and Farmers at Stanton, Birchover and Rowsley, and their role as solicitors to the Dukes of Devonshire.

Additional papers at the end of the series comprise miscellaneous title deeds and legal papers.
