Description
Records of Brampton Mount Zion, formerly Primitive Methodist Church which was the main church in the Chesterfield PM Circuit until Beetwell Street opened in 1848 and was the centre of the Chesterfield 2nd PM (Brampton) Circuit, later the Mount Zion Methodist Circuit. The first church was built in 1827 (for deeds see D3597), moving in 1906 to a new church building. The church closed in 1976.
These records were deposited via Chesterfield Central Methodist Circuit in January 1991.
