Administrative History
Originally part of the parish of Wirksworth. The Church of St James was built in 1855 and the parish formed in 1856 including Ireton Wood and part of Shottle. ldridgehay later became a United Benefice with Wirksworth and other parishes, and part of the Wirksworth Team Ministry.
Custodial History
The records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in a number of consignments beginning in 1992.
