Administrative HistoryThe school, formerly known as Brimington Common School, was one of two run by Brimington School Board. Originally a mixed school, by 1895 it was an infants school. Following an academy conversion agreement dated 30 November 2016 (see DCC/LG/CX/3264) Brimington Manor Infants and Nursery School ceased to exist, being replaced by an academy.
Custodial HistoryThis collection comprises a single accession, deposited in Derbyshire Record Office on 20 March 1990. Ownership passed to Derbyshire County Council when the school ceased to exist.
