Parish of Whaley Thorns St Luke
Administrative History
Whaley Thorns was originally a part of Bolsover parish (see D190). A church was built there in 1879, but until 1884 was not licensed for baptisms or burials. The church became a consolidated district, separate from Bolsover parish in 1924.
