Description
From Naples. Has received letter from her son John which has been deciphered between Gell and Mrs Nightingale. John to return to England. Nightingales have just arrived from Ischia. Gell has finished his map which has been engraved and Lord Blessington has paid 400 dollars for it. `It is, as the world goes, decently executed and will be useful'. Death of his friend Mr Canning. `Rosalind de Vere' a very curious novel which ought to be read.
