Archive CreatorParish of Langley Mill St John (Chapel of Ease), Aldercar
Administrative HistoryThis chapel of ease dedicated to St John and covering the township of Langley within the parish of Heanor, was built in 1870. It was then subordinate to Heanor. A new church was built at Langley Mill in 1912. (For records of this see D1113). Aldercar is now a chapel of ease to Langley Mill.
