Administrative HistoryElizabeth Richardson held the manor or lordship of Matlock and properties in Smalley, Matlock, Horsley Woodhouse, Dalbury Lees and elsewhere in Derbyshire. She died 25 August 1763. She had three sisters, Martha Heiron, Catherine Fletcher and Mary Wilson. Mary Wilson had one child, Martha Wood.
Custodial HistoryThis document was transferred to Derbyshire County Council by Berkshire County Council through the County Archivist in 1951. It had been salvaged by a sales porter in Reading some years previously.
