Archive Creator	Parish of Bolsover St Mary and St Laurence
Administrative History	Bolsover is one of the ancient parishes of the county. The parish includes Glapwell, where there had been a chapel in the medieval period, and Whaley Thorns until its creation as a separate ecclesiastical parish in 1924, though the church there dates from 1878 and the registers from 1879. Some records destroyed in fire at Bolsover Church in 1960
