Biography
Jug was an enslaved African on the Turners Hall sugar plantation in Barbados. She first appears in the records on 31 December 1759 and is described as 'very old'. She had a daughter called Molly. She does not appear on the 1771 list and is assumed to have died between 1760 and 1770.
